If you are a woman of color and wore foundation before 1990, it is likely that is was a shade manufactured by Fashion Fair cosmetics. Named after a Paris style runway show featuring women of color wearing the latest designer couture, it was "the" cosmetics line in the African American community. The fashion show also donated proceeds from the show to various charities. The brand is still available but has faded in popularity under intense competition
